Pastor Roman Folia
Pastor Roman is a native of Southern California. In 2003, he received a B.A. from California State University, Fresno, where he majored in Philosophy. He also received a M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary in 2012. He has been the Senior Pastor of Ranch View Baptist Church since February 2016.
Roman and his wife Nancy have been married for 15 years and have three children, Jacob, Nicole and Ryan.
Stan Cole is from a family of the founding members of RVBC. He is a fourth generation within this wonderful community of Olivenhein and serves as a Deacon at RVBC. He spent 4 years serving in the Navy, retired from Unisys after 26 years and currently runs his own business disking and mowing during fire season.
Stan and his wife Kathy were married in 1969 at RVBC! They have two daughters Lisa, married to Ed, and Laurie, married to Tom. Stan and Kathy have a total of five grandchildren.
Stan was just a child when he attended Sunday School just across the street from RVBC in the Olivenhain Meeting Hall. He has a vast amount of history to be shared about the church and the community. Stan and Kathy have been attending RVBC since the late 60's and are very active within the community.
Nick Sarandis serves as a Deacon at RVBC. He has been working within the Pharmaceutical industry for 20 years. He has an undergraduate degree from Georgia College and a master's degree from Wilmington University.
Nick is married to his wife, Allison and they have four children; Victoria, James, Nicholas and Samantha. They moved to Vista, CA in 2008.
Nick has been serving in a Deacon/Elder capacity within the church for the last 14 years. Nick, Allison and their children came to RVBC in 2016.
Ed serves as Treasurer for RVBC. He is a retired public agency finance director. Ed and his wife Marie, have been married for 49 years.
They lived in Ventura for over twenty years, retired to Idaho for eleven years and currently reside in Oceanside. Their daughter Lisa, married to Josh, and 2 children reside in California. Their son David, married to Barbara, and four children live in Lakewood. Ed and Marie have been attending RVBC since 2016.
