Statement of Faith

​

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God in its original manuscripts.

 

We believe there is only one God, creator of all, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

 

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ -- His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross.

 

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

 

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in Christ, and is not based upon our own good works.

 

We believe that, while all have sinned, anyone who places faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross is forgiven and is eternally secure in God’s salvation.

We believe in the holy ordinances of baptism, communion, and marriage as outlined in God’s word; and while baptism is required for obedience, as a sacred testimony of the born-again believer, it is not necessary to receive God's free gift of salvation.

 

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit by indwelling the Christian, who enables all believers to live a righteous and godly life.

 

We believe in the mission of the local church, made up of believers in Christ, who desire to encourage one another unto good works and to draw the lost unto Christ Jesus.

 

We believe in the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will come in glory and in power.

 

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are lost unto eternal condemnation in the lake of fire, and those who are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven.
